Audio suite 
In our audio suite one can choose between the warm natural sound of analogue audio, or the crisp and ease of processing qualities of digital sound - or both!

Some music and effects work for our productions is handled directly on the edit  workstations in other technical areas.

Larger and more complicated audio production - including live recordings from our studio with many microphones - are usually handled in the audio suite.


The audio suite

Soundcraft 1600 series mixing desk		 A classic English Soundcraft 1600 series 24-8-24-2 mixing desk is at the core of the audio suite. This mixing desk is renowned for its warm sound and it's EQ with  responsive "British" characteristics on every channel strip.

The studio is equipped with Tannoy monitor speakers and a good selection of outboard equipment, as well as mastering to a wide selection of digital and analogue formats.
The audio suite contains another classic piece fo equipment - a Lyrec TR-532 2" 24 track tape deck - admired by many for its warm sound and wide dynamic range over the entire audio frequency spectrum.

Despite digitalisation and the company's other PC-based audio tools, this recorder is still valuable when remixing existing 2" masters and selected new productions from our studio.

The composer's workstation

 For the composer and musician, the audio suite is also equipped with a PC workstation complete with excellent tools such as Musicator and Adobe Audition.

The workstation is used for digital music composition and mastering to digital and analogue formats.

The workstation has access to the central media server via gigabit network.
