From the South
  • Motorway E6 northbound
  • Exit at junction Skanderborg C
  • Turn right towards Skanderborg
  • 2nd traffic light, turn left
    at Skanderborg  railway station
  • Follow Låsbyvej approx. 4km 
    (crossing motorway bridge 
    and roundabout)
  • Just before Forlev village -
    turn left towards Mesing
  • Follow country lane approx. 1.4km
  • Channel 6 Television is #6 - 
    a farm on left hand side
From the North
  • Motorway E6 southbound
  • Exit at junction Stilling
  • Turn right towards Randers (McDonald's on right hand side)
  • 150m to roundabout, 
    turn left towards Mesing
  • Follow lane approx. 2km 
    towards Mesing village
  • T-junction in village - turn left
  • 50m, right turn towards Foerlev

Public transport
to Skanderborg

Railways - Skanderborg station is on the mainline between Århus and Copenhagen - 15 minutes south of Århus and approx 3 hours west of Copenhagen. Intercity rail connections hourly plus local and regional connections.

Motorways - Skanderborg is within 4½ hours drive of any town on the mainland (Jutland), and the islands of Fyn (Fünen) and Sjælland (Zeeland). Journey to Copenhagen takes approx. 4 hours by car (over Fyn) and slightly less by car ferry from Århus.

Air - closest airports are Tirstrup and Billund, both within 1½ hours drive. Regular domestic flights to Copenhagen, some direct flights to international destinations.

Taxi from / to Skanderborg

We usually collect and deliver guests arriving by public transport at Skanderborg railway station. 

Taxis are also available outside the station and via telephone (+45) 86 51 00 00

Hotels

There are several good hotels and inns in and around Skanderborg, and many hotels in Århus. Most hotels and inns have a restaurant - usually open for orders until 21:00
